No Marty you cannot bring my girlfriend, Krys would object. However, for the rest of you Metro members who want to bring your wives (1 each) or girl friends you are welcome to do so. Just remember that once they have participated in one of these events, they may not let you go on one again.

Gotta love the photo from last years event, looks like a small turn out with only a few thousand riders, and you gotta love the handle bars and bike attire.

John and I completed the first day of prep for the Fall Social Ride. Seven hours of planning, reconnoitering, trespassing, trail clearing, pleading with bar owners to let us come back, etc - and then the hard work of biking and beer drinking. But we are professionals - certified Bierkers. We have identified many miles of off road riding so far but we ran out of daylight so we have to go back next week. Hope the club has enough money in the kitty to cover our expenses.

Expenses? Insurance deductibles? Ambulance co-pays? Court costs and fines? Bail? Legal bills? Please don't sugar coat it.....
