Thanks guys. I did try the beginner trail near UW Parkside last weekend. Worked out great and gave me a chance give it a whirl. Had a blast. I will give the trails you both mention a whirl soon.

New to Mountain biking

I've become a pretty avid road biker the last few years and thought I would try mountain biking. I realize it's late in the year, but, I will give it a go this weekend.I dove in head first and bought a Trek 4300. Hopefully it's good enough for a novice like myself. New to Mountain biking

I've become a pretty avid road biker the last few years and thought I would try mountain biking. I realize it's late in the year, but, I will give it a go this weekend.

I dove in head first and bought a Trek 4300. Hopefully it's good enough for a novice like myself.

Any pointers anyone would like to share??
