Hello cycling friends,
I'm running for election to the Wisconsin Bike Fed’s board of Directors and would really appreciate your vote. Pardon the redundancy if you've previously received emails and social media from me (at least no yard signs). Yesterday the WI Bike Fed extended an opportunity / promotion to all candidates in order to encourage voting and membership. They are offering a $25.00 membership to people who join the WI Bike Fed before the end of the election (November 15,…Continue

Never to early to start promoting. Is there a date set? Location?
Apparently this crazy spring weather has caused the Iola race director to postpone his race until May 19th. Please check WORS.ORG for further details and other race date changes.

2007 Yeti ASR-SL (med) full suspension mountain bike- $ 2300.00 Campbellsport WI
This bike is in excellent condition (about 1000 miles on it) with many great additions. I am selling because I don’t use the bike as much as I thought I was going to. I road bike and trail bike to work every day and have a collection of other bikes, I just don’t get the chance to make it to the trails. Here are the specs for the bike;
Frame; Aluminum front triangle with full carbon…Continue

Please contact Todd Somers at email@example.com or 414 475-1850. We need all types of help from course marshals to people manning the water station and assistance with the kids race. We can use the help 7/14 and 7/15 as much or little as you can it all helps to make this a great local event.

Are we going to be working on the trails tonight (weather permitting)? If so, where are we meeting?
I do also owe the group an apology. I can not hold Metro in anyway responsible for what happened in Cambridge Woods. My attitude posting during a past trail maintenance day was uncalled for.

Are their the races this wednesday at crystal ridge? If not, when are the next ones?
Hey everyone, I recently moved to Riverwest and noticed some great rough trails running along either side the Milwaukee river. My question is can I Bike on them? or do I have to stay on the oak leaf and beer line "trails"? I have spoken to a few people at the County Parks office and have heard contradicting views on the matter. Any thoughts on the subject would be much appreciated, thanks!

Last night's Odd Tuesday was great, but a little short and a little wet :-). Thanks again Harold for hosting these rides!
Would there be any unofficial interest in riding at Hoyt, Oak Hills, Crystal Ridge or the River Trail on the even Tuesdays? Just curious who would be up for it?

I have recently moved to MKE for grad school at Marquette. I have been looking into some of the trails of milwaukee to do some riding(Joel's river adventure and the river trail) and was wondering how safe are they? I currently live down by Marquette and know that there are some bad neighborhoods on this side of the city as well as some up by the UWM campus. If anyone can give me some guidance, I would greatly appreciate it.
Monday, November 14, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the DOT downtown office building located at 1001 W. St. Paul Avenue in Milwaukee. Chris Larson and other elected officials from MKE will be there. Unfortunately I will be in class, but a show of support would be a good thing. Attend if you can.
