It would appear that the trail, on the 'out' lane (away from 92nd towards 76) when it runs along the Root River, there is a tree blocking the lane, forcing the rider (me, in this case) to turn back, and continue my ride on the 'inbound' lane until, a few hundred yards up, where I can cut back over again. Of course, this basically forces you to ride onto incoming traffic-not the most sound idea. Does anyone have an alternative route they use to go around this? I use the trail map from trailville.com-is it different now? Any help would be appreciated.

Trailville map is out of date... the new HD line opened last year. Alpha Trail Loop is now CCW with only one line along the river..  Loop is now marked with black on white and black on yellow arrows. Trail is completely open and will be used for upcoming Alterra WORS race.
