RACING
Wednesday Night Racing at Crystal Ridge
Now in it's 12th year, racing returns to Crystal Ridge, 7900 W. Crystal Ridge Drive, Franklin WI. 2 miles South of Southridge Mall where 76th St, Rawson Ave. and Loomis Road meet.
Scheduled for May 6 through September 9, the Series is "conditions permitting", racing only goes on if the trails are dry. Up to date trail conditions reports on the Metro Hotline (414) 297-9616.
Racers are scored in 5 classes;
Women, Men 12-19, Men 20-29, Men 30-39 and
Men 40 and over. Nightly door prizes.
Crystal Ridge offers the areas most challenging MTB racing with fast double track, technical single track, grueling climbs and a screaming downhill.
2 to 3 laps of 3 to 5 miles each. A great way to get started in racing or train for other events.
Racing is $10 per night, $7 for WORBA and IMBA members and just $6 for ages 12- 17.
Registration opens at 5:30PM and the racing starts at 6:30PM.
Metro Challenge
The 2009 Metro Challenge is scheduled for June 27 at Crystal Ridge.
